It was amazing! I got to experience real life in Korea, visiting local parks and markets. This experience inspired me, and I decided to apply for a job at Airbnb.

After four months and eighteen interviews, Airbnb hired me as employee number 700.

I worked in the accounting department, which helped me learn a lot about the company.

Planning your costs carefully is important, too. Think about expenses like cleaning, bills, taxes, and insurance. Set prices carefully, charging more during busy times like holidays and weekends, and less during quieter periods.

Easy Tips for Great Airbnb Hosting

Take Excellent Photos: Photos are the most critical aspect of your listing after location and price.

Take high-quality images. Remove clutter and arrange furniture. Take advantage of natural lighting, preferably during the golden hour (one hour after sunrise or before sunset).

Clearly communicate the unique features of your home through your photos.

Create a Highly Optimized Title: Your title is the first text guests see, so highlight your listing’s best features. Avoid generic adjectives like “cozy,” “modern,” or “spacious.”

Emphasize amenities and specific features your target guest wants most, such as “Walk Score 99,” “Pets OK,” “Early Check-in,” or “King Bed.”

Write A Great Description: Your listing’s summary text needs to communicate why people should book your property. Use short bullet points highlighting awesome amenities, like high-speed Wi-Fi, keyless entry, or a fully stocked kitchen.

Each sentence should directly help the guest understand what they’re getting and excite them to book.
